Our 16 Fundamental Truths

1. Inspiration of Scriptures: We believe the Scriptures are inspired by God, revealing His design and plan for mankind It is the infallible word of God.
2. One True God (Trinity): We believe in the one true God, revealed in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Trinity).
3. Deity of Jesus Christ: We believe in the deity of the Lord Jesus Christ, who was both human and divine.
4. Fall of Man: Though originally good, man willingly fell to sin, introducing evil and both physical and spiritual death into the world.
5. Salvation: Every person can have restored fellowship with God through salvation, accepting Christ's forgiveness for sin (1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G).
6. Ordinances: We practice two ordinances - (1) Water Baptism by immersion after repentance and receiving salvation, and (2) Holy Communion as a symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death.
7. Baptism in the Holy Spirit: A special experience following salvation that empowers believers for witnessing and effective service (1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G).
8. Evidence of Holy Spirit Baptism: The initial physical evidence is speaking in tongues, as experienced on the Day of Pentecost and referenced throughout Acts and the Epistles.
9. Sanctification: It initially occurs at salvation, declaring a believer as holy, and is a lifelong process of separating from evil, drawing closer to God, and becoming more Christlike.
10. Mission of the Church: The Church seeks to save the lost, representing the Body of Christ, consisting of those who accept God's redemption offer through Jesus Christ.
11. Leadership Ministry: A divinely called and scripturally ordained leadership ministry serves the Church, guiding believers to reach others, worship together, and edify the body.
12. Divine Healing: Healing of the sick is a privilege for Christians today, provided for in Christ's atonement (1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G).
13. Blessed Hope: We believe in the blessed hope - the Rapture of the Church prior to Jesus' return to Earth (1 of 4 cardinal doctrines of the A/G).
14. Millennial Reign: Christ's return with His saints to establish a benevolent rule over Earth for 1,000 years, bringing salvation to Israel and universal peace.
15. Final Judgment: A final judgment awaits those who reject Christ, resulting in eternal punishment in a lake of fire.
16. New Heaven and Earth: We anticipate the perfect New Heaven and New Earth prepared by Christ for all who have accepted Him, living with Him forever following His millennial reign.
